Our son had awful colic and had to be put on a prescription medication for it, although colic was just one of the many issues he had.

Try tilting your baby slightly so they are sitting more upright as that will help with colic as well as winding after every feed and the colic hold also works well.

There are lots of natural colic techniques which we used alongside infacol and they did really help but none of the over the counter stuff came close in comparison to his prescription one.

Leannexxx just keeping winding her, sitting her up a bit and using the infacol. It can take a few days for the infacol to start working properly as it needs to build up in their system.

Our sons colic was really bad, we tried absolutely everything with him, all the techniques mentioned by Dr's and online and all the different over the counter medicines. Whilst it did help it was only when he was on the prescribed medication that we saw a difference, but his colic was made worse due to his other health conditions.

Hopefully the infacol helps your wee one.

My 2nd boy had colic. Firstly, big hugs! It's a tough time, but I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel. Stressful and hard, but you will both be all good.

Gripe water gave temporary relief for ours. Plus a routine to get you through the toughest few hours. I used to walk him outside, the fresh air kept me sane and briefly calmed him.

A warm bath also eased the crying and soothed his tummy.

Also, take help when offered. Sometimes the best help is half an hour away from it.

Yes, my son had very bad colic, we had to take him to hospital several times as he would not stop crying day and night after trying infacol, and other things suggested by doctors and midwife. At hospital they checked is blood and found he suffers from celiac desiase and reflux, they prescribed Gaviscon for babies and it sorted out the issue.
