Companies and Their Concerns with Our Privacy

Other

The EU (European Union) apparently implemented a new law in regards to privacy and companies need to be transparent about it and bla bla. The thing is, everyone kinda uses social media so that piece of privacy has been somewhat given away by the users themselves.

How someone uses Facebook and is worried about his or her privacy just makes me lol.

If he/she wants actual privacy, keep the online activity limited but yeah.. that's not how it goes.

Quite pleased to have a clear out. It really brought home just how many I'm signed up to. If they want me to sign up again, they can put up a competition.

I think I am getting more emails with everyone asking 3 or 4 times per company if I want to hear from them lol

Yes, I'm getting many more GDPR-related emails too. I set up two email rules to help filter them:

1. If subject contains 'Privacy Policy' > Mark as read

2. If message contains 'GDPR' > Mark as read

Tom I should have done that. Just today I received a mass of privacy-based emails from various companies and it's so annoying.

Hopefully, it shouldn't be for much longer now. I just delete the emails, anyway.
