Cooking with Traditional Recipes from Your Parents or with Your Own?
Ask a Question
My mum and dad taught me traditional homemade food from my childhood and I can cook them.
I feel that my cooking is a mixture of both. I cook my favourite recepies that my parent taught me but I also cook recipes of my own.
I have also taught my parent new recipes and sometimes they just ask me to make it again!
I would say that a lot of people have an answer of both except if you do not like your parent's cooking.
What do you prefer?
Hi letsgetfreestuff I like to do both. I watched my grandad and mum cook. And I do my own. My grandad showed me how to do a poor man's pie. My mum showed me have to cook Gammon joint with cloves honey and orange. I do Gammon joint in cola. And pork chops in apples and cider. And I love to mix and match. I like to do turn up with potatoes. You mash them together put butter and pepper. And I do a lot of home made soup with home made nann bread. And I do a lot of baking has well. I think is far Healther to do all your on food. You know what go's in it. To day some people do not know how to cook. Which is a shame.
