How Do You Keep Cool at Night?

Ask a Question

It’s been so hot in bed at night at I finally purchased a cool pillow and it has really helped? What do you use to keep cool at night?

Live in Scotland.... I’ve maybe had 2-3 days in the past 5 and a half years where I have been too warm at night time 🤣 I grew up down south where I spent the entire summer too hot!

It's hot in my bed every night. lol, I am a lady of a certain age and spend the night sheet off, sheet on. My life saver is the ceiling fan that my partner put up, it's usually on most nights, even for short spells through the winter too. Keep meaning to take a look at these cooling pillows as have heard good reviews about them 😅 .

Alway keep the window open and a tower fan blowing on the lowest setting just to circulate the air, but never blowing directly towards the bed.

I have ceiling fans in most rooms but annoyingly my bedroom ceiling fan has become a bit noisy so I need to clean it and rebalance the blades I guess. Also it's missing one light bulb at the moment (takes halogen bulbs) so that could also be the cause. So need to spend a bit of time sorting it to make it silent again. Generally I like to have a cool head and warm body at night, if my head gets hot I hate it.
