Coronation Street

Ask a Question

I am the only who thinks it is going downhill. I remember the times I would never miss an episode but now the storylines are unbelievable and the new actors are dreadful. What’s your opinion?

I thought it went downhill years ago. I stopped watching eastenders, corri and emmerdale because i was fed up of the same story line being used in them all.

I try to watch it - it's not just the actors to blame (it's not just the new ones that are dreadful either) I've just watched the past few episodes on catch up (I like playing spot the howler) One very noticeable one from Monday 5th August was Seb being assaulted with a SINGLE blow to the head and arriving at hospital with broken ribs.

I had to go back to check - will anyone who also watches it on catch up (or noticed it) confirm what I say.

I think all the soaps went downhill ages ago. I don't bother with them anymore.

I have been a bit disappointed in emmerdale recently. I thought it went downhill when Kim came back. But I still watch it every episode!

A series of soap crossover episodes will start broadcasting from the 1st November.

Casualty, Coronation Street, Doctors, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Holby City and Hollyoaks will join together to air a special climate change storyline, which will air in the first week of November

I'm not into soaps, but this could prove to be a popular move - https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/breaking-corrie-emmerdale-eastenders-air-25194149?a=

Haven't watched any of the soaps for years. Cannot watch a program where there is a murder every week in the same square/street/farm and take it seriously. Every cast memeber has an affair every other week. Pathetic!

Pathetic might be the wrong word there and I detect some exaggeration 😉

I stopped watching it years ago, I liked it when you could relate to the storyline.

Last nights episode was so bad you needed subtitles to understand it. The whole episode didnt seem to flow.

There are too many story lines going on at the moment and some a little too far fetched.
