Do you struggle with the cost of childcare during school holidays?
It can cost around an extra £645 to have someone look after your kids so you can continues to work and around 84% say they worry about half term and the effect it has on their finances.

I never had any childcare for any of my four children. I was a housewife and my husband went to work, very traditional and very happy.

sadly, it's harder to survive on one wage now.
We always ask family members of friends to look after them, and we do the same for them, or if they do not have kids, we sort something out like before a family member looked after our youngest child they would not take anything so I fitted there new bedroom carpet for free works both ways we think
This is the problem for those on low income. I’ve been told loads of times by parents how it actually costs them more to put their kids in childcare than they earn to work so they have to just take a day off instead.
