Remco marketed this doll in the 70s.Its real creepy.Any strange or weird toys that you recall? 
Not strange but really weird I used to work in one of the poundshops and we had poo toys in the shape of poo. It was annoying as kids thought it was funny to throw them around the shop.
I don't do clowns, not since watching Poltergeist as a kid!! 
You're right about that T.I once had a papermache doll and gave it a bath .IQ of an amoeba me.
I had a couple of talking dolls for my daughters when they were younger. They got left outside and we could hear them talking on their own.

When I was a kid my Dad got my elder sister a troll doll, we are not taking the cute smiling Trolls you see nowadays, I was petrified of it. It didn't blink and always seemed to be looking at you. I remember him saying I've bought you a doll and her replying that's not a doll it's a Monster 
I did a search to try to find it, I know it didn't have any clothes and had horrible brown eyes, I don't remember the smile

Everyone loves clowns, right? I'm sure people would sleep better having this Pennywise figure looking over them.

Robert the doll is another horror in this genre, but i must admit, the IT franchise is the best with pennywise, try watching them with cordless headphones on, you will be jumping 6 feet in the air
