Crisps on a Sandwich - Delicious or Disgusting?

Ask a Question

Used to eat crisps on a sandwich as a child. Cheese and onion was my favourite. What do you think. Delicious or disgusting?

It's a well known fact that a crisp sarnie is one of life's gastronomic pleasures and, I might add, so is a chip sarnie.

Lynibis and Leannexxx also enjoyed smokey bacon and prawn cocktail sandwich. Don’t think kids of today know what they’re missing. 😉

A crisp sandwich is only disgusting if you don't put brown sauce on it too.

The only disgusting part is the price of the crisps, ounce for ounce they must be one of the most expensive foodstuffs around.😀

I love a ready salted crisp sandwich- with butter on the bread then i squish it really flat so that all the crisps crush into little bits 👌

I think it does enhance a sandwich, with extra textures, but I tend to eat them separately

Used to love Marmite and Cheese & Onion crisp sandwiches - added a bit of crunch! I see that Subway now offer you the chance of having crips in their subs - Thats on my todo list when I finally get into town

Old school classic a crisp sandwich I made one at work once and everyone pretended that it was scruffy thing to do but I bet they loved it

Bossclaz Know what you mean. Some people just don’t know what they are missing. It’s a toss up which I like best- chip butty or crisp sandwich. Both of which must have loads of butter.

Delicious. I’m with you on cheese abs onion but I’d have any flavour apart from salt and vinegar. And a good amount of butter on the bread. Lush

I tend to this when ever I can't figure out what to eat or too lazy to bother making a better sandwich. I do really enjoy them. Flavour of crisps will vary depending on what I have available
