What is a Deal?
Ask a Question
So, I came across an item being sold on eBay, which was full price and posted on here as a 'deal'.
Now, how can that be put on as a deal, when there is no obvious reduction on the sale? I'm not sure I get this?
When I commented, someone said
"You can post any items on here wether they have money off or not "
Where they suggesting that you can get away with putting any old stuff on here, or what? Or that somewhere there is a system flaw
Sometimes things are cheaper from one place than another even if they don’t have a deal on. Which kind of still makes it a deal if that’s the cheapest place you can buy it
It could be a item someone has been looking for on pervious websites and eBay was only place selling item don't need to be reduced its helping others find stuff they looking for too
The value of any deal is relative, and there’s no way to control this. That is why the voting or like system is in place, so anything that is perceived as a good deal will get bumped to the top, and everything else will just get lost in the wave of posts
The only posts that LD are wary of are those who are doing self promotion, so if the eBay deal posts are blatantly suspicious, I.e. the person posting is obviously the seller of the deal, then you ought to report it to the team for them to look into
