I love a lemon cream pavlova although my last two attempts broke. Had to quickly buy some strawberries to make Eton mess.

For me it has to be anything chocolate or lemon. Saying that last night I had jam roly poly and custard, it was amazing, took me back to my school days.

I'm not really a dessert person, but I don't mind a black forest gateau every so often. MrsChimp would eat anything that I put in front of her 🤣

To be honest if I was having a meal I prefer a starter to a dessert but if I have room at the end it’s got to be an amazing hot sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

Vegan chocolate brownies went down a treat when I had a gathering at mine.

I was very unsure when making them as it contained a lot of oil 🤢

But they weren't dry or much different to if it was a non vegan recipe, which is what most people imply when they hear the word vegan, sadly.

A black forest trifle which is easy and can be made ahead. Made in the same way as an ordinary trifle but with cherries and chocolate sponge in cherry/blackcurrant jelly as base, covered in chocolate custard and topped with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

I don't often have dessert due to not having much of a sweet tooth. However I have not had hot cherry pie and custard for a while, that would go down nice. Also lemon meringue pie, new York cheesecake

My nan's banoffee pie is our family's favourite, she gets a lot of complaints if it's not at a family gatherings.

We very rarely have a dessert, if were do it's normally ice-cream. I personally would choose cheese cake, but my husband and son like ice-cream, so I am out voted 😀

Over Christmas we were invited to a family 'do' and everyone was offered a cornetto as a desert. Genius, no waste. If you don't want one they stay in the freezer for another day

We will do different desserts. Sometimes it will be homemade apple pie, lemon tart, lemon meringue pie, profiteroles, cheesecake. It really just depends what we are having for main.
