What Do You Do Now That You Didnt Before

i never used to listen to the radio much, now its on all the time downstairs. i actually really enjoy hearing about the world. ive also done loads of decorating bits that i was meaning to get done but never got round to it.
i have 5 kids that arent leaving the house. we have a garden i dont see the need for them to at the moment.
whats everyone else getting up to in their spare time?
I've preferred radio to television for quite some time, it's always on Radio Four. The days seem to fly by - I never get bored I've always got something to do, computer, playing guitar, talking to people on phone, YouTube etc.
I've even thought about doing some housework, but not much point really no one is coming into my house until the current mess is over.
i think ive deep cleaned every part over my house repeatedly for no reason what so ever lol
i do more crafts.....make tent from the table for my daughter....sit more on the balcony,,,,make photos from people who touching the handle in the same place....
Made a lots of cookies...
i love home made cookies! we do a lot of crafts in our house hold to. razy how much stuff you can do aye
Well apart from sorting a few cupboards out & our loft, Iv mainly been watching tv & movies more than usual & drinking more gin. Never usually have time to sit & watch stuff without distractions. I just watched the movie Anthropoid (admittedly mainly because Cillian Murphy is in it) but I really enjoyed it & as it was based on a true story during WW2 I learnt a few things. Currently been binge watching Killing Eve, I only have 3 eps left to watch so will finish that tonight then think il look for some more light hearted stuff to watch. Iv have dug out my old cross stitching/ craft box from the loft so i might have a rummage through that next week see if I can get back into stitching.
i hope your enjoying the down time. cat beat some peace and quite with a drink and a good season on netflix
My life hasn't changed, but funny enough, I'm inspired to do more. I think this is because we've been been very much restricted that we are actually looking for things to do, rather than just letting life pass us by.
im very homely usually. ive been doing the bigger house things thats been on a list for about a year
I'm spending more time in the garden with my son, but my routine hasn't changed much, apart from not going out. Definitely talking to family and friends more.
its crazy isnt it. me and my husband have been enjoying the family time while the weathers nice in the garden. makes you realise how lucky you actually are
Prior to lock down I read a poster that said TIME IS PRECIOUS, WASTE IT WISELY. Regret to say I am wasting a lot of time lately, very hard to feel motivated alone in isolation.
Start a new hobby. Even if you don't have the materials to put a new skill into practice, why not get on YouTube and learn to make some kind of item (knitting / candles / gifts etc) you could potentially sell at craft fairs etc? Even if you then try it out and it doesn't go well, you can still look back and know you spent your time wisely. More than 50% of the skills I use in all of my various jobs have been self-taught via videos and guides online - all free.
