Wow, this monster pumpkin the size of a Fiat 500 car !
It fell off a trailer and got squashed into a hedge when it was being transported to a local farm. Luckily it was only bruised
The humongous pumpkin – which weighs 1,204kg – was on its way back from being weighed in Berkshire where it was officially confirmed as the UK’s heaviest pumpkin.

Wow nearly a sad end. Looks bit deformed to me. Our Halloween is going to be different this year. Usually we still have my daughter birthday decorations up but she's not here this year so will have to decorate for Halloween
Imnotcheap That would be good, there are lots of Halloween decorations around.
When I was a kid, we used to carve out turnips, I don't think I saw a pumpkin until I was a lot older 
beccatavender not too scary though my youngest might not like it. He won't let me dress up as pennywise. So I'll be a musketeer
beccatavender I really enjoy the other children asking their mums why they don't get dressed up to trick or treat 
Often said that the smaller the fruit the better the taste. The stuff force fed on fertiliser looks impressive but hasn't nearly so much flavour in my experience.
How can anyone grow a pumpkin this big without using illegal fertiliser? This pumpkin should never be allowed to enter a normal competition.
