Would You Go To Disneyland?

Ask a Question

Would you take your children to Disneyland in Paris or Florida? I talked to my oh and he refuses as he thinks is everything fake. I think it is good to give to your children good memories to have but maybe it is not necessary šŸ¤”

In the current time neither but Florida is far superior than Paris though the cost is a lot higher but when you have been to both you understand

Of course it is fake but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go and enjoy it. Everything around us is fake: TV dramas, fiction books, films, even news, people and flowers!

I haven't been to either place but have been to Disneyland in California, it was stupendous even 40 years ago and we will never forget it.

Btw it is Disneyworld in Florida.

Only been to the one in Florida and would thoroughly recommend , we had a brilliant time there, didn't want to come home. It's an expensive holiday when you factor in the theme park entrance fees but it's an experience that's well worth it, especially if you have children. There something for everyone at Disney not just children stuff. Different parks have different themes.

Probably best to avoid for the next few years until all this virus stuff is sorted , but time to start saving.

We went to Florida last year , it worked out better pricing to go there than Paris, we had the best time ever . Also had California Disneyland booked this year but was cancelled. Hoping next year we can go . My daughter was 3 and she still talking about Disney world , worth every penny

Im neither a fan of Disney or Theme parks so Disneyland would be lost on me, but it's all personal preference. I would LOVE to go to Harry Potter world in Orlando tho šŸ˜ƒ

I haven't visited any of their sites. I've seen a number of their rides and experiences on YouTube and a lot them look fairly naff. However, I would still consider going once to see for myself. I'd prefer to go to Tokyo Disneyland šŸ

I took my son a few times when he was younger and he loved it. We all had a brilliant time. You just immerse yourself in it whether it's fake or not. Not sure I would want to go back until it's safer in Florida but I would happily go back at some point even without kids

I hated the one in Paris. The one in Tokyo was alright. Iā€™d expect it to be best out in the USA, but Iā€™d never want to pay the prices they charge

We went to Florida and visited Disney. It was absolutely horrible tbh, but I'm sure it would be great for kids.

Florida is the best one I have been too by a long way, also been to Paris and California. We normally go in march to Florida but for some reason booked it for September thankfully else we would have been stuck there in the worst of it. We have cancelled the September one for now too awaiting for something sensible to happen over there.

I have only been to Disneyland Paris many years ago but absolutely loved it so we went back a couple more times. It is magical especially for younger children. If I was going to America I would prefer to see the real America. At the moment would not travel anywhere. A Disneyland style theme park is being built in Swanscombe, Kent but will not be ready until 2024. Hopefully by then we will be able to out without masks.

I've been to Disneyland Florida 3 times. Twice as a child and once as an adult. I think universal studios is better as the rides are more modern. Disney has some very old dated rides. I'm not a very mainstream person, so the going there as an adult didn't do much for me. Lot of plastic tact in the shops there to buy. I thought the parades had gone downhill too. I loved meeting the characters when I was 11. When I was 17, I didn't want to go near them. When I was 27, I went on the goofy rollercoaster with goofy šŸ¤£ I think it is good for children but as an adult it depends on what you are into. I love stone circles and esoteric books, so it wasn't really my thing by then
