The region I belong from doesn't not sell any sort of dog food, dogs eat whatever the rest of they owner family eats.
Nickynoo40 I don't know I only had dog when I was a kid and he eaten what I used to eat. We never heard of dog food.
How long do you walk her? And how many times just that the vets told me to cut down the food walk 4 times a day a hour per time worked with my dog she lost loads of weight
Reduce her food, or change it. Manage all treats given. Only give healthy treats. Apple & carrots are good for dogs. You could even try some dog treat baking, loads recipes online.
Firstly I would start by weighing the food out and cutting the treats down I have Labradors and by weighing the food they get helps so I know how much they are eating, they do get treats as well as carrots and apples but depending on how many treats they get I reduce the food for that day I feed the skinners field & trial muesli , but Skinners do a field & trial light and senior or a maintenance food that is suitable for dogs that are prone to gain weight mine also get walked 3 times a day for two hours at a time mostly off lead so the can run around more, but how old is your Labrador as puppy’s should have restricted exercise for the first year of they’re lives
Burns dry food is good as it's only sold in pet shops not supermarkets and nature diet or James welbeloved are good wet foods.
