Two bottlenose dolphins dragged a frightened schoolgirl underwater and left her injured after a swimming experience with the animals went wrong.
Lexi Yeo, ten, was in the water with the sea creatures at Dolphin Discovery in Cancun, Mexico, when they suddenly turned on her.
Her mother Laura-Jane Yeo watched in horror as the youngster was submerged during the TUI holiday.
Nobody expects to be in danger on an organised event on holiday, although we must also be aware that animals are essentially 'wild'.

Personally I am against using animals in such a manner anyway, Saw these Dolphin swims in Florida, one group after another constantly throughout the day swimming with the same Dolphins, sure the poor animals just wanted to be left alone to swim , play and relax by themselves . Saw exactly the same thing in Lanzarote but with Camel rides , working the animals constantly all day in the hot sun just to make money.

Not really the dolphins fault is it. They are wild animals so always going to be a risk. I guess for whatever reason they were stressed out & turned. Iv read the article & it appears people are still swimming with the same dolphins so lesson have been learnt 
Yes?! I hate the expression 'lessons have been learned' it always seems to equate to never mind, we won't change a thing!
tumblespots Yep! I think it equates to 'Never mind the risks to people or stress to animals, theres money to be made here' sadly!

Animals as smart as they are (sometimes more than humans) are still unable to stop themselves as they don't know right from wrong (sometimes they do, sure).
By the way, that about a dog, it actually happened and she survived it. It was an accident.
Animals will always be animals and we should be more wary of them and stop trying to make them human.

It's just fascinating, but make them human? That doesn't seem possible.
