Dracula BBC
In the News
Anyone else tuning in for the 3 part show from tonight at 9pm.
From the makers of Sherlock so I’m excited about this one and I like horror shows
I have just wanted first episode and I won't be watching any more, it was laughable. Bad story and script, horror scenes that made me laugh and no actors of any real calibre.
I made it through the first episode and felt as let down as the nuns, maybe if it had been condensed into 60 minutes some of the bad script could have been taken out. Unfortunately like a lot of TV dramas recently, the best bits are shown in the trailer and the rest is padding
Think I’ll stick it out. I liked that it did show some horror bits with rotating heads and walking babies etc
I’m afraid I’m not hooked cant put my finger on why other than it seemed too dark. I don’t intend watching the second episode tonight.
I watched the first one and felt it was rather long, so I wasn't too keen to see last night's as it was 1hr 30mins too. I might watch it on catch up at some point. I didn't like the representation of Dracula. He was neither sexy or scary and really Dracula needs to be both in my mind. The nun got the best lines.
So... I watched the second episode. The nun character is funny, the only reason I’m watching it. Best character!
So I’m wanting to watch the third as I’ve got this far.... but do I really invest 90mins of my life To be dissatisfied
