Drones Hovering over Peoples Back Gardens
Other
Drones are becoming more and more popular some I have seen on Facebook over peoples back gardens.
I live in a semi rural location where shooting game and wood pigeon is quite common. I am considering joining this club and if a drone happens to get in the way then by accident I Might hit it.
I personally think that there should be a ban on these drones invading peoples privacy and should not be allowed to be used by anyone other than license professionals for example builders and surveyors.
When I was camping earlier in the year at one campsite I kept hearing what sounded like a huge angry bee above my tent, it turned out to be a drone. I know that these drones also record to an app and I understand that being recorded in a public space is allowed I am still not happy with being recorded from the sky which can be zoomed in without your knowledge for example when you are going to the toilet.

I totally agree with you. They should be banned, it's not as if they contribute to the good of mankind. They should only be used by the military or law enforcement.
They can be used for nefarious purposes as an aid to peeping toms, sussing out places to burgle, filming kiddies on the beach. My neighbour has allowed her 4 year old daughter to run around totally naked in the garden during summer, I don't like it but with drones around it makes you realise nowhere is private.
Lynibis that is so wrong that you can’t have your little one play without being watched!! This is a peodophiles dream
Probably not the best idea to have yourself recorded shooting into the sky with a air rifle, you do not want to get into trouble. We do not have a problem with them where I live, I have only ever seen one guy on a field with one.
Howmuch it is legal to shoot my way however I was only joking as I love the wildlife
jillylovesyou I did think you where joking, when I did shoot an air rifle as an adult the rules where so restrictive it was hard to find anywhere outside a club. I spend many school holidays shooting plastic bottles filled with water on a farm my parents stayed at, would love to be able to do it now with my children.
We don't have a problem with them where we live. I've never seen one where we are. I do agree that they should only be allowed to be used by certain organisations.
