Dubai Makes Its Own Rain To Tackle 122F Heat

In the News

They are using drones to send electrical charges into the clouds to create rain

Very ingenious, and they have the funds to experiment with this type of thing

I dont think it would be of interest to the UK government, we need something to stop the rainfall !!

It makes me wonder what goes on with water companies when you get more rain than in the amazon in england and ireland, both are surrounded by water , and yet there are always water shortages

You get the likes of spain, hardly any rain and as far as i know they never suffer water problems, and thats despite a lot of properties having pools

It just doesnt make sense

telmel I know it is absolutely insane that we should ever suffer water shortages

Mick82 I did read a while ago that there are many leaks that the water board should repair but they just leave them rather than pay for repairs , maybe this is part of the reason , false economy

Not particularly comfortable with weather modification programmes tempting as they might seem in a heatwave.

I'm no expert but doesn't this mean they are stealing rain from other places?
