Dyson Hairdryer
Ask a Question
Hi, I'm looking to seek some information from anyone who may have purchased a Dyson hairdryer. I was given money for my Christmas to buy one but I'm feeling so anxious about spending £300 on this item and it not being worth the money. Can anyone help me please
Both Boots & Currys sell this, at the same price, if you have a Boots card that may be a better option as at least you will get the points. Also check the cashback sites, discount codes to see if you can get it cheaper.
I personally wouldn't spend that much on a hair dryer but I have short hair. You also need to consider would the person who have you the £ be disappointed if you didn't buy it?
Hey Sammy. Ages ago I was at a barbers with son and they had them.. I asked about them and he said that they were good commercially but expensive obvs for to justify home use.
Like beccatavender says at least get the points from boots for it ..
Also a motto that I do use tho is ‘if in doubt, leave it out’
How often do you dry your hair etc ?
When I heard a couple of years ago that Dyson had developed an hairdryer I thought I would buy one but then decided it’s not worth that much. I treated myself to another handbag instead at John Lewis.
It seems a lot of money for a hairdryer. My hairdyer is over 20 years old. Sometimes it smells like burning and I think it is going to break. I am hoping to win one this year but failing that I don't think I'd spend over £20 on one. I have a remington hairdryer just keeps going and going. I think I must have been in my late teens when I got it.
A £10 hairdryer does the job just as well. In my opinion, with Dyson you are paying for the name only.
I would love to know if anyone has experience of using them? I really want to get one as I dry my hair daily and they do look amazing..
I have one, I love it and couldn't recommend it enough. It's the best hairdryer I have ever used
Whenever I’ve tried them out, I’ve always been impressed by them. But for the price, I don’t think it’s quite worth it for me, as I can use cheap hair dryers quickly and without a problem
I used a friends once (shes a hairdresser) I found that the end result was no different so not worth it for me personally
I think it's down to user skill. If you get good results with a cheaper dryer then you'll get similar with the Dyson one. A piping bag is the same, my friend is skillful with one in her hand where I can only seem to produce blobs!
I have got the dyson airwrap which includes the hairdryer and other attachments. I have had this for over two years and I still use it everyday. I find when using the brush attachment my long straight hair dries so much quicker and the brush never get tangled in my hair. Yes, it is more expensive than others but I think it is well worth it. Plus the curl attachments are also quick and easy to use.
ive heard awful reviews on it. however if you want it do it
i tend to buy middle priced dryers no more then 50
Sounds really expensive for a hairdryer but then again there must be something about it which makes it so pricey. Maybe you should check out for any discounts ?
