eBay Maximum Fees
Ask a Question
Hello, does anyone think eBay may run one of their promos again soon where the maximum fee is only £1 once the item sells? I've got so much spare time I could do with some listing and am waiting for them to run this promo which they used to do every week!
I used to get those promotions very regularly but recently they stopped coming they probably want to maximise the profits.
They'll probably do it when we come out of lockdown so they're not seen to be encouraging people to go out posting stuff. That's my guess anyway.
wonder if they are holding off due to the pandemic maybe? I reckon after the lockdown there will be one
I just got an email, £1 maximum selling fees are back and valid till 31st May! Happy selling :-)
Ever since I sold something worth £500 on eBay I've never forgotten it because I was hit with a fee of £50! From now on, I wait for 70% and 80% seller fee discount promos.
My eBay payments get sent to my Revolut account then I transfer to a bank account, just seems safer eBay doesn't have access to a person's main account(s). However, they did do a soft search on me and anyone else ever since splitting with PayPal.
Like it or not, eBay's the most accessible marketplace for private sellers.
I'm so fed up of ebay selling fees, they're ridiculously expensive. Hopefully we'll see some other sites taking more of a share soon
