Do Any Education Staff Use the Morrisons in Store Discount?

Last year Morrisons offered a 10% discount to all staff working in education settings from nurseries through to colleges if you showed your ID badges, alongside the same 10% discount for NHS staff. NHS staff can get the 10% discount now through their Morrisons More app. They have now stopped this for teaching staff so are refusing to give the discount at the checkout but are still advertising it over the tannoy so are still obliged to give the discount. Does anybody else use this offer?
No I don't but would like to know why Morrisons think they should offer the following clubs

Where's the Pensioners Club or Unemployed Club we all buy the same food at the same price so why should some be singled out for discount.
lilyflower I think that is a really good question, why don't they offer those clubs.
I used the student club when I was a student and got a few freebies but never got any good discounts
Whilst I think this a good initiative, and don't get me wrong I do appreciate teachers, but they do receive a decent income.
Why wasn't this offered to carers who are poorly paid and who could definitely use this benefit. It seems we only paid lip service to saying we appreciate all they did during lockdown.
beccatavender I couldn't agree more, care staff have been heroes before the pandemic, throughout and after. My job involves training care staff and I have seen first hand how hard the last 18 months have been for many of them.
