So, I always weigh myself at the beginning of the new year to see if I have put on any weight over the Christmas period. Truth is, I am absolutely dreading doing so due to all the chocolates, cake and others I have been eating lately. I may just throw the scales out of the window if my weight is greater than it was before.
I don't own a pair of bathroom scales. I couldn't tell you my weight. The only persons weight I'm concerned with is my son! I am trying to lose the last of my baby weight but not that fussed if it doesn't go anywhere. Just don't weight yourself and instead say that you are going to determine to be healthier, it will help you lose weight but mean you aren't solely focused on it.
I don’t own any scales any more. I know if I put weight on or not by my clothes and the mirror tells me.
I lost nearly 3 and half stone on slimming world last year but stopped going in september when i went on holidays. I have been weighing every week thinking i need to get back on plan but havent ive now put on 2 stone. Back to class for me in January
I've been off work all December due to illness and have been eating like it's Christmas all month. Not looking forward to standing on the scales or trying to get into my work trousers in a couple of weeks
I've had extra bits this Christmas but I haven't binged. I do want to lose weight so that has been at the back of my mind the for the whole chocolate munching month
Don't do it. You're allowed to over indulge at xmas, just make a plan for the new year if you need to.
I’m actually not dreading it, because I’m ready for the 1st Jan to go into full blown diet mode, whatever the weight gain is now, it will be going! I’ve got 6 months to lose two stone for my wedding..
I’m avoiding mine for this reason but I think as long as come the new year I’m back into my normal routine and not over doing it like we all do over Christmas then those couple of pounds will shift themselves!
i also dred them been on a diet for months now but over xmas also had chocolate and ice cream i have to lose weight as i have pre diabetes
Dreading it too. But I'm usually pretty good at sticking to exercise plans and losing the weight in time to go on holiday then put it all back on next Christmas!
