My friend is getting engaged today and having a party tonight. It’s going to be her 3rd wedding (potentially). What can I buy an Older couple as an engagement present 
At the risk of sounding mean I don't think I would be buying an engagement present. Is this a thing now? Surely it is enough to buy a nice wedding present if/when the wedding takes place. Seems anyone can get engaged and use as an excuse for getting presents. I would sooner contribute to the party with some booze and food. (Crikey, 3 engagements and 3 weddings is a lot for friends to cope with present wise!)
I dont think presents are expected but if you must id say a nice bottle of something sparkly, if you’re going to the wedding you’ll most likely end up taking a gift then too? So I’d just keep it simple
