Enough Time in the Day
Ask a Question
Even through lockdown do you have enough time in the day to get everything done that you need or want to ? Are you working from home and have less time for yourself or more?
I normally wake up around 5am and then just look forward to going back to sleep around 10pm
There's lots of time in my day.
I'm working from home and find I have less time for myself as there's no clear cutting point for work, so I end up checking my emails or do bits of work when I previously wouldn't have. I also start earlier and end up doing more hours.
eyeballkerry I'll carry on until they make us go back, and then hopefully not 5 days
I think my times flying and my weekends seem to fly by really quickly. I think it was a bit slow at the start of lockdown though
I got six year old. So we have been doing homeschooling. Then there's cooking, washing up, laundry, cleaning, tidying up... theres always so much to do and I'm pregnant do it's hard to find time for myself...
I'm homeschooling my youngest two the oldest can do it herself she preparing for college so probably over my head. The youngest are too young to do it by themselves so I have to teach them then try to fit in housework before tea. Will get 5 mins for me in September after catching up with housework properly
I’m finding it’s not the amount of time in lockdown, but the amount of energy I have (third trimester pregnant) and my body says to stop when I still want to get stuff done.. it’s very frustrating, i wish I had a really productive lockdown and got loads done but I’ve done barely anything
sarahgreen15 I know how you feel... I'm 32 weeks and huge. I didnt do major house revamp or anything like that. Just tried to get my craft bits, shed and few places in the house sorted
..and yet it still seems like there's too much stuff...theres always laundry to wash, fold, iron and put away...at least I got all the preparation done before baby comes...its all sorted in case I'll have him early.
