That is one large number of dinosaurs, and not including the other species , but it was over two and a half million years
Imagine if they hadn't become extinct, they might have been the dominating species now on earth

The human race may not even exist, it may have changed the course of evolution. I've seen Jurassic Park, we wouldn't have a chance
This made me smile, but where do you find these ? Dinosaurs on bikes and now fast food TerenceMealing
Given a choice between a Tyrannosaurus Rex and Lion I'd rather have the Tyrannosaurus Rex to deal with. The chances it could even survive today is extremely remote and would likely be fully incapacitated even if it could breathe. The oxygen levels were much higher back then which is why animals became so large, I think the Rex would have to be massively changed to live today. The giraffe and elephant are adapted to live today, I think the giraffe has an absolutely huge heart and lungs etc. Maybe even some of the small dinosaurs couldn't survive today as they would expect to have much richer oxygen levels. In contrast I think if you take an animal like us back then we would adapt to a more oxygen rich environment without problem in fact I guess you could say when people are given oxygen at hospital etc for covid they are experiencing an atmosphere more like what the dinosaurs had.
