Ask a Question
Watching river monsters at mo now I really want to go sea fishing however I then remember the last time I went it was very rough not only that i had viral infection which we had nt realise so I slept for bout 9 hrs fished 4 bout 45mins ate the rest of time lol
Went sea fishing in South Africa, never again. First hour me tummy were churning , sea were choppy and the crew kept asking if I was ok every couple of minutes. Anyway they gave me some sprite of all things to settle my stomach and that worked. Didn't catch anything, after 7 hours headed back. Was told because the sea was choppy and the weather was bad the fish were being difficult lol.
Next day better weather, thought we'd try glass boat fishing trip. Not exactly fishing but got to see plenty of the beautiful fish.
So the day after we got persuaded to do the the dolphin excursion on jet skis. We were novices on jet skis so there were 2 of us on each jet ski with 5 jet skis going out. When it cme to suiting up oh well, I'm under 5ft no child suits available, I'm walking down the beach wiv the buttocks wiggling at the back of my knees listening to hilarious laughter from everyone as I pass. But needs must, not that it kept me dry I was **** wet through when we got back. So we set , half way through the rain starts pelting it down and the sea gets really choppy, winds starts picking up. Everyone starts saying to instructor turn back and he wouldn't so we carried on stopping and starting at a slow pace. Regardless to say we get to the destination, no dolphins because of weather and turn back. Again brave through the weather and at this stage you can see the panic and terror on the guides face because the waves coming at us are massive. So we're stopping the jet ski's to ride the waves out. Get in seeing distance of the beach and other riders jump on their jet skis to come and assist because we're all in difficulty. Only problem was that our guide left us to assist one of the others back so we're the only one's left slowly stopping and starting trying to get to shore. I'm not sure if I ****** myself, a massive wave came and although we'd stopped we went under. I said my goodbyes just before it hit and as it hit the force it made my hands come off and just as I came off I felt being pushed back on from behind. All I can remember is coughs loads of water out and my friend crying her eyes out. The guides racing towards as and guiding us back in. I got off on the beach and collapsed, they had to help us up. The hotel manager came and went absolutely ballistic with the guide for taking us out in that weather. For the rest of the day and the evening the guide did not let me out of his site. I don't think I'd ever go on the sea again now.
Omg no I remeber lol 1 thing you dont wanna here over radio man over bored we thinks what how do you nog now we was pee in as in the hold 12 of us on boat pee in ourselves at we thinks@zai
Yes. One of the worst days of my live. Shark fishing off the Cornish coast. Boat had engine problem so late in leaving. Weather turned rough. The 'facilities' - an oil drum with toilet seat! We looked like a cork bobbing in the sea as we returned to harbour. The next day we discovered why it was the start of the storm that became the Fastnet '79 disaster. Never ever been out on a boat again.
lilyflower lol.oil drum for a toilet seat. Oh my days lily you poor thing, combined with with the storm you were probably worse off than me . I don't even know if I peed me self I was so wet lol
Mctash I don't think I did, but I don't know. The wetsuit was holding water. Especially the buttock area which was sitting just above me knees. I was freezing cold. I just didn't know whether I was coming or going. In me head I was thinking did I or didn't I, till this day I don't know.
Yes, I’ve been deep sea fishing off the coast of Japan, and it was rough as hell! Most of the people vomited and rolled themselves up into a ball, praying for the boat trip to end. But I was one of the last ones standing, and Still Managed to catch a lot of pacific saury to bbq later that day
