Everyone Does It ? Pilfering from Presidents Air Force One Prompts Clampdown

In the News

It seems to be the norm nowadays , if it is not screwed down somebody will have it away

Not even the US presidential jet is immune from theft, people have been stealing items for years , anything from a table mat to a towel , especially if the items are embossed with the Logo

And it is not just journalists doing this, one Senator apparently took everything he could that was not fixed in place

He must have looked like the Michelin Man, or a Ryanair passenger trying to escape surcharges by stuffing everything in his jacket

But they are finally clamping down on theft from the aircraft, warning people it is against policy to take anything

Maybe they will have a secret agent planted on the plane just to spot any takers , be warned, you are being watched

That is terrible. I could understand, though not condone, if members of the public were on board but they would be a security risk. They must have huge security so how do they get away with it...especially senators! Open a gift shop!

Lynibis My thoughts too L, they must have cameras everywhere on that plane plus guards , yes, a gift shop would be a good idea 😄
