Do You Eye Lash Serums Really Promote Growth?
Ask a Question
I have always been dubious of such beauty products, as I believe you are born with thick and long lashes, and there is not much you can do if you have not-so-luscious lashes (apart from adding extensions/false lashes)
do you use serums that work for you?
I don’t think so, I think it’s just a money making scam.. people are all different and obviously some people have eyelashes that fall out faster than others and hair that grows thicker etc.. I can’t believe the price of the products that are meant to promote lash growth! £40 for a specific one sold in Boots..
Yes it’s far too expensive, especially if the difference is not noticeable. It just feels like money wasted if there’s no obvious results
I actually disagree! They do work for sure but you need to be sure you buying a product with good ingredients so good research before purchase is a must, as there is plenty of products that will just waste your money. However, do not expect a miracles they won't be transformed in a day but you will notice a good difference after few months of use. I never had a great amount of eyelashes and eyebrows but when I use serums they definitely are stronger, I don't loose them as much as I normally do on a daily basis and they look slightly longer and fuller. And to be fair I have never purchased those product from top of the range. The most expensive one I bought was £40 serum on a half price deal
Thanks for the advice. My eyebrows definitely could do with more, as it’s now fashionable to have bigger brows, and I’ve never had full brows
Castor oil is meant to be very effective, lots of health benefits too, plus a bottle would last ages x
Thanks for the recommendation. I will have to look into that one. Anything that is natural, I like
I have used them before and personally didn’t find it beneficial. I would say they are a waste of money as I didn’t buy a cheap one either x
I tried it once when I received some as a gift, I can't say I noticed any real difference tbh. I have quite naturally full eyelashes anyways, so maybe that's why? I have a friend tho who raved about the difference it made for her tho. So . I think it maybe depends on which ones you use & what results your after.
Apparently there are some eye drops that help with lashes. I’m on prescription for drops and the nurse asked if I had noticed, which I hadn’t at the time but it’s noticeable now.
