Family Night

Ask a Question

Do you have a night of the week where you make time for your family. We generally celebrate a Friday with our kids and play video games and make time for them. We look forward to it. Although we do let them stay up a little later and sometimes it’s overwhelming

Yes, I used to love it as a child. We always used to stay up an hour later and have a few peanuts, a small mars bar and a little glass of cola on a Friday night, I in turn did something similar with my children and my daughter now does Friday 'sweeties and film night' where they snuggle up together and watch a film of my granddaughters choice. Simple things but precious ♥️

Sounds lovely. I have stepdaughters every other weekend and myself 3 boys. We certainly have fun when it’s a full house. It’s rarely cosy, mildly mental but I wouldn’t want it any other way

LenoirLenoir that sounds perfect too. I must admit I miss the days when my 3 were little and love having my granddaughter stay over.

I love the sound of your Friday evening - sounds fun. Ours is a Saturday as (we are no longer 20 year olds and don't go out) we invite, as in open house with friends and family. It's more conversation, food and drink. It finishes off the week well and sets us all up for the Monday.

Me and my other are 40. we don’t go out much nowadays. We’re saving it for when the kids are older. We love our Friday night. Saturday is a slob day and Sunday is get ready for Monday slash maybe go shopping for stuff with the kids. We’re just making the most of them while they want us around lol

I try every week to make a night where we play a game as a family or watch a film. Every night at dinner time we sit at the table no phones or tv allowed and we talk to each other many families have lost family time these days
