I'll go with Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty. He isn't exactly the nicest person, but it's very entertaining -
Favourite for me as a kid has to be Scooby Doo but from the current era i love Homer Simpson
I hate cartoons as a general rule.... but Scooby Doo will always have a place in my heart

Mable and Diper from Gravity Falls tv show and Louise and Linda from Bob's Burgers.
I was scared when I used to watch Scooby foo when I was small... I use to hide behind sofa and peep out to watch 
That show was dubbed in English in Australia, but only lasted 52 before they canceled it. In U.S. they too made an English dub too although it was more of a parody and similar to South Park, nothing like the actual series.
Unsurprisingly, they canceled that, too. Thank God (it was terrible).

I love scooby doo. I was really ill on Halloween and watching scooby doo's Halloween special picked me up a little
When young I liked The Flintstones and scooby and scrappy doo,then as an adult I liked The Simpsons but then it went on far too long and stopped being funny.
