do you gave a favourite comfort food? sweet or savoury usually? or does it depend on the type of comfort. when im in need of a physical boot its savoury when emotional cake ice cream and choc!

I always go for savoury snacks, usually crisps, My current fav are Nik Naks rib n saucy flavour. Mars bar my fav if I want a sweet treat.
When I want comfort food I always crave the salt and the sugar, so it's normally ready salted crisps and a Mars duo.
If it's a comfort dinner then I will go the whole way and have something like cheeseburger and chips followed by syrup pudding and custard. So bad and this is the reason I can put weight on so easily if I'm not on top of things, lol.
Janhrrs oh no your sentence was triggering. I have a sponge pudding that I have being avoiding eye contact with......will be changing this sentence to past tense in roughly 20 minutes .....! 
I'm pretty flexible when it comes to comfort food whatever is on offer at the time. I do enjoy toffees though more than chocolate and a bag of Thornton toffee is always very enjoyable.
oooooh you cant beat a thorntons toffee- unless its homemade on bonfire night yum
Chips, crisps and cheese! And sometimes all at once (well, maybe not chips AND crisps, but potato is the common denominator to accompany cheese). And chilli over that. I like eating it when it’s cold out
