tell me you all time favourite film ... and why ?

My all time favourite film/s are as follows

TAKEN....ACTION STARRING LIAM NEESONA

My favourite film of all time is taken starring Liam Neeson as a undercover agent whose daughter gets kidnapped by a gang who sell young girls for sex slaves to rich men from foreign countries and take them away so they can't be found by their families or the police ... but Liam being o former spy has a few tricks up his sleeve about finding her and bringing her back home ... Full of action and a fabulous storyline.

TITANIC...TRUE STORY OF THE SINKING OF A CRUISE SHIP SINKING HITTING AN ICEBERG...WITH THE LOVE STORY OF 2 PEOPLE JACK A YOUNG WORK BOY WHO LEAVES TO GO SEEK FORTUNE FURTHER A FIELD PLAYED BY LEONARDO DICAPRIO AND ROSE A MIDDLE CLASS WOMAN WHOSE ENGAGED TO A CON MAN ...

It shows that love can appear anywhere and anytime to anyone ... Jack meets Rose and they instantly hit it off and before u know it Rose is cheating with Jack why her soon to be hubby is setting Jack up saying hes taken jewellery of Roses out the safe ..

its foggy and the captain doesn't see the huge Iceberg and hits it with the ship causing it to sink at a rapid pace ... women and kids are put in the lifeboats and the staging of the boat sinking is one of the most dramatic scenes ever to be filmed and shows the boat sinking and all the people that didn't make it into a boat drowning . jack and rose cling on to a piece of debris and rose manages to to climb out the water onto the debris but no room for jack ... jack gets hypothermia and it shows him slowly dying ... its so touching and so heartbreaking .... my heart will go on is playing in the background ... jack dies ...

I've four personal favorite movies that I watch from time to time.

  1. The Wizard (1989) - Nostalgic movie from childhood.
  2. Dumb and Dumber - Classic comedy, the sequel was utter garbage.
  3. A Perfect World - Kevin Costner is absolutely fantastic and love his performance in it.
  4. Napoleon Dynamite - Love the dry humor of it but wish it had a sequel, it had a mini-series at least.

jojowane67 8 Mile is excellent too but the music video alone is more than enough.

Vote for Pedro - Napoleon Dynamite is great. It's a bit of a 'Marmite' film, most people seem to either love it or hate it.

jojowane67 Taken is a great action film. Unfortunately, I didn't think much of the sequels.

ACR Yeah, those who hate it simply can't figure out its comedy style and where it is. If I had to take a guess, that's the same type of people who'd detest to watch a show like Arrested Development, The Office, Malcolm in the Middle and other no-laughtrack series.

Big Bang Theory with the live audience / laughtrack (or.. whenever they're told to laugh) is horrible as it is in my opinion but if you take away the laughtrack, the show becomes straight up depressing and like a real life version of manchilds who never became grown-adults.

My favourite film is The Green Mile. It's a good lesson to us all that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover and we should make sure we know the full facts before making assumptions. We all thought at first that it was Coffey who murdered the girl. Despite turning out to be innocent, he gets executed regardless. Pretty sad ending.

oh god the actor who plays the part of the accused if fabulous and Tom Hanks as ever , tbh I don' think Tom has ever made a bad film, gotta say though Toms best film has gotta be Philadelphia . so sad yet so inspiring ... thanks so much RegularComper90 for your input x xx have a great weekend x

Yeah, there's way too many superhero movies these days. I loved Deadpool for its brutal comedy but Deadpool 2 kinda paled in comparison.

Terry Crews was even part of the flick but they killed him off quite quickly. :-/

Forrest Gump 😊 I enjoy most of Tom Hanks’ movies, but this particular one takes you through a journey like no other. I’ve yet to meet the man himself but I’ve heard he’s lovely in person - some people I know met him years ago when they were working on Band of Brothers.

I watched Forrest Gump several months ago and really liked it, it was the type of movie that got praise but hadn't seen it. Now it figures why everyone loves it so dearly.
