Ask a Question
With the Christmas season here, what's better than a chat about all time favourite pantomime! Can be because of particular star in show too
Love a good panto! Haven’t been to one for years.
There isn’t really anywhere where I live, got to travel to the big towns.
MelissaLee1963 this was why I posted the question, I had the same dilemma when someone asked me the other day!
vixe80 More I like watching all the excited youngsters and joining in the foray.I went to see the Gruffalo up West as well..er without kids!
We haven’t been to the panto for a few years now as the kids have got older. I think I always enjoyed them more than the kids anyway.
tara73ziva you are lucky, beauty and the beast is great, although think I enjoyed that love story more than the kids!
The best pantomine I went to see was at Sevenoaks. We were told we could meet the cast afterwards but it didn’t happen. I complained and got the signed poster below.
eyeballkerry cinderella is amazing in pantomine - love the ball gowns! That's a shame you didn't get to meet them but great you got the poster.
Justlikeawoman Peter pan was always my children's favourite when little. I think they liked the flying scence!
MelissaLee1963 I love aladdin.... Purely for the song "a whole new world! ' haha. Great panto.
Haven't been to a panto since I was a teenager. I can't even remember which ones I went to see over the years, just that I enjoyed them. Our son is still too young for Panto. Don't even know what the panto is in our town this year, if there is one.
We went to the lion king in London, that was amazing, we went about 8 years ago, had never been to a panto in london before .
Not really a ‘panto’ but we went to see White Christmas a few years ago on Christmas Eve. It was a real feel good show and I loved it!
gerrykelly25 a good show on Christmas eve always puts you into the festive mood. Great show too!
Couldn’t pick a favourite, a pantomime is good whatever one it is i think. Always a laugh to be had and my kids love joining in. Cancelled last year due to covid so hope to go this time around
Vixens I'm going to watch **** Whittington on 18th Dec oh can't wait 7 grandkids and me baby too young yet
I am a bit of an oddball as I have never really been into pantomines all that much. Even when I was a child.
RegularComper90 lots of people haven't. They are great fun, lots of interaction with audiences and comedy giggles for all ages... You should give it a try
