What was or is your favourite subject at school/College/A-Levels/University Degree?
At primary I enjoyed Dance and English.
At secondary I enjoyed Catering, Textiles, Drama and English.
At A-Levels in a Sixth Form I enjoyed Psychology, Sociology and Health amd Social Care.
University I enjoy studying Psychology Degree.
History and Religious studies. I did a joint honours at university and I am now a qualified RMPS teacher and occasionally teach history when someone is off Ill.
Psychology, for A Level and Degree.. LOVE it.. I did also really enjoy Sociology at A Level but I didnt find it as challenging as Psychology..
Letgetfreestuff I wish, after I finished my degree I had no relevant work experience.. I had been working part time alongside my degree in retail and by the time I finished, I owned my own house and am responsible for two dogs, so I couldn’t afford to do voluntary work experience... tried to do a masters but got rejected from the course based on a lack of relevant experience.. so I’m stuck with a useless degree and no way into a job in psychology unless I win the lottery
sarahgreen15 I know a couple of places that you can volunteer to gain work experience in the field of Psychology if you want to know let me know and I will tell you those.
Letgetfreestuff thanks but it’s more of an issue with time / money, because I already work and have a house and dogs to care for, I dont have time to volunteer and I can’t afford to cut down my hours.. I know there is no volunteering jobs within a 45 minute drive from me too
I liked maths at Primary, then science and maths at secondary and a levels, then I loved engineering at university.
My favourite subject at primary school was Maths but at secondary school it was Physical Education. I couldn't wait to get outside and play sports. It was such a stress reliever too.
Maths, P.E & French were my favourite subjects but i didnt take any of them for A level because my friends didnt
I loved maths at secondary school but as soon as I started it at university I realised that I didn't understand it at this high a level!
Maths in early school years then that and physics later on. I love helping the grandchildren with their homework (and am still learning).
