First Achievement in Lockdown
Other
Just completed dress for my youngest granddaughter while isolated. Isolation is not that bad after all.
Great stuff - well done! And a nice idea for a topic too for people to share what they've been up to whilst stuck at home!
I wish what I'd done was was more fun but it's mostly been fixing long standing bugs in the LD website and app
Thanks, I posted "Lockdown Activities for Me" but no one taken much interest unfortunately.
I put up a shelf for the 50" television I bought on Black Friday - I like to take my time
I done jack my routine gone straight out window I did help do a 45 piece puzzle with my little one or
Ann1984 I broke a record on one of those 45 piece puzzles - I did it in one hour and forty seven minutes. It said on the box "Three to four years"
I've sorted out all the stuff I am planning to get rid of once this is over, I've cleaned behind the sofas this morning, found my sons plate that he hid the other day, reorganised the bookcase, going to tidy his playpen later. Not big achievements but still achievements.
Lovely dress. I love hand knitted items for babies. My son has some lovely cardigans, hats and blankets made by family and friends and my auntie made us a beautiful hand knitted blanket for our sofa. I'm always so impressed by people who can knit, it is a skill I never mastered. My Granny knits cardigans, hats and blankets for her local hospital, so I imagine they will have lots by the time isolation is over!
i like it! we have been doing a lot of decorating, im currently working on my 3years dress then a mermaid outfit for her
Hi Reiz123 that's a beautiful dress you've made for your granddaughter. I'm going to be an auntie again in August. Take care and thank you for sharing
Whilst i have been off it has been very boring but i have been trying to play the piano still very terrible but may get there.
I have been making more cakes over the last few months. Here is an example of one of my sponge cakes. I am sorry to say that it's all gone now though.
My achievement is losing over a stone since lockdown.
I seem to have lost all the weight and the wife has put it on
It's upsetting her tbh, which makes me sad
We put up a greenhouse on the vegetable patch, it had been crying out for one and we had made a deposit on one at the end of last year. TBH it was great because we could get on without interruption - a good thing when carrying all that glass!
