Fish to Try at Home

Ask a Question

Cod, Salmon, Tuna it's all I ever have what's easy to cook but different and probably cheaper.

No fancy recipes just something to chuck in the over wrapped in foil that's not got loads of bones.

I'm not really sure why, but there's something amusing about the last part of your statement about loads of bones. 🤣 😆

I'm not really an expert on fish, but here's a webpage with 12 different ideas;

That pretty much sums up most of the fish I eat, cod, salmon and tuna but with the occasional sardines on toast and my favourite fish mackerel. Iceland do 3 packs of frozen fish for £10 and often would buy two of their mackerel and then perhaps vary the other fish, might be salmon, might be trout etc.

I personally don’t eat fish other than tuna in a sandwich. My boyfriend likes a good piece of fish.

He has the Birdseye Haddock which is roughly £4.50 a box when not on offer, and that is for 4 pieces. It is the red box they do not the blue box and he really likes those as something easy and cheap to chuck in the oven. Image

Tuna and seabass are easy to cook and relatively inexpensive. Quite meaty fish too so very filling

I like battered frozen fish, yellow fish that you boil (think its called haddock) and i also like the fish in parsely/butter sauce (they are super easy to cook you just boil in bag and their lovely)
