On Monday, non-essential shops in England will be allowed to reopen for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown was imposed.

I have seen some of the nearby shops prepare for reopening, and I’m sure most people will behave...fingers crossed
I hope they behave too 
lots of excitement for those who have not been out for a while, or rather those who are bored of shopping in the same shops
Judging how people currently are, there will probably be trouble within the first hour of reopening
It won't work - people are too intent on their own shopping to adhere to the 2 metre rule. We haven't been out since the start and are in no rush to go out, even with the lifting of restrictions. If there is going to be a second spike (quite likely!) then those who rush out will be the ones who are affected. We clearly don't have the space for all this distancing either - otherwise we would be more spaced out to start with... 
Just think though - they are considering reducing 2 metres to 1 metre - all those signs will have to be remade! A single metre is too close in my opinion you are almost next to someone else already... 
If people were concerned about keeping 1-2 meters away, they would have done on the protests, but nope, they didn't. Never mind the riots, they were looting every shop they could so distancing isn't something they were worried with.
The "new normal" as they say just doesn't work and neither does for the fact they need to call it "NEW normal". It's not normal then. lol
PhilipMarc It's worrying that many people consider the 1-2 metre rule doesn't concern or affect them! I think that many people went rioting simply because they wanted to get out after being in so long, the looting was a 'happy' byproduct for them once they got into the riot mentality, they just went bonkers, anything could have been the catalyst; it was bound to happen.
People aren't really geared up to keeping apart, there are so many ways in which we want to be together. Anything from opening doors for people to giving help to someone in distress and all those in between.
All we can safely say is that the world will never be the same again.
I was chatting to a security guard who said a fight broke out last Thursday over M&S sale items within the first hour of opening. If retailers intend to have a sale the moment they reopen, it will be hell on earth

It already doesn’t work. People do not follow 2 metre rules, people don’t follow one way systems, people are not organised in shops, people are thick and people are very selfish. Where I live they have just introduced a different one way systemic the shopping centre and now when you leave the shop you have to walk an extra 20/30 seconds to get to where you entered and some guy this morning was kicking off! Complaining and couldn’t understand why even though it’s an only extra 30 seconds. Went into another shop and they tell you to queue in aisle 7 to pay and some woman was standing in aisle 6 and they was complaining and saying why can’t she queue here! The guy said ******* aisle 7!!! The selfishness and stupidity of the general public while more than likely cause a second wave!
I wont be going out. I have been in the shops once and that was to my local co-op and I didn't want to go back! I'm not sure when the shops in Scotland are going to reopen but I don't have any need or desire to go the shops. I'm happy with my click and collect grocery shopping and shopping online. I think there will be a second wave because lots of people do not obey the 2 metre rule! My mother in law has had to tell a police officer and a local councillor to stand back from her in the supermarket as they were far too close.
