Flavoured Digestive Biscuits - What's Your Favourite?
Ask a Question
I've spotted a couple of fabulous flavours in store of these great quality Mcvities Digestive biscuits.
The new flavours are: Cherry Bakewell, Marmalade on Toast and Strawberries & Cream, perfect for adding a new twist to the classic teatime treat.
Has anyone else tried these?
Do you have a favourite?
I haven't tried any of these unfortunately, but I think the Strawberries and cream flavour would taste lovely.
Have to be honest and say i haven't seen them and none really appeal. I'll stick to good old Chocolate ones
It sounds really weird to me too ...... I think I'll stick to milk chocolate ... ...well for now anyhow.
My personal favourite is the Cherry Bakewell. They also had a limited edition Christmas Pudding flavour for sale towards the end of last year that was quite nice.
SAdeals McVitie's have brought back their seasonal flavours again this year - Christmas Pudding and Gingerbread. Both are currently available for a £1 (with a Clubcard) at Tesco.
Oooh forbidden treats but I love the sound of the cherry Bakewell variety. Daren't buy any as I have no restraint once I open a packet of biscuits.
I'm partial to bakewell tarts but I just can't get my head around these alternative flavours for digestives !
BORDERJOE Does my head in a bit as well BorderJoe.I mean if it aint broke don't fix it eh?
I try breaking them in half then I go back for the other bit then another half and so on and so fourth and so fifth and on an on ad infin lol.
MelissaLee1963 that's a fantastic way to make the enjoyment last twice as long!! great idea. I'll try to give it a go too!
SAdeals Somewhere back in time and history I could resist but now I have to buy them less often or not at all.I have no elf control at all . I know people who can eat just one. How exactly do you do that? Beats me lol
So they also do the digestive bars and I tried the marmalade on toast. It was very like eating marmalade on toast with that grain of toast. Was pleasant.
I do enjoy caramel digestives though. I just hate they are smaller could easily eat the full packet at once
I've tried the cherry bakewell ones and found them to be rather strange, but not unpleasant.
Cherry bake well sounds yummy.. not seen them anywhere, will need to keep an eye out although maybe not so good for the diet...
Oh no cherry bakewell oh yummy. Sounds like I want to try those. They sound like they will be my favourite
I have not tried these but I absolutely love the caramel one they are my favourite. I also like the plain ones with a bit of cheese on. Lovely x
oh my yes the cherry bakewell ones are amazing, i wasnt sure id like them but wow its not just a hint of the flavour it is strong and yummy, not so good if you dont like cherry though.
I love cherry bakewells but I love cherry bakewells and Choc biccies on a separate plate lol.
On my recent travels I found a shop selling lemon drizzle digestive biscuits. I was sorely tempted to buy but as I said above, months ago, I have no willpower so I am staying on the straight and narrow for the sake of my blood sugar levels!
My favourite is the Mcvities light chocolate biscuits, they are so crisp. Absolutely delicious.
beccatavender it certainly does sound delicious. Cherry bakewell is one of my favourite sweet treats too!
RegularComper90 me too. Love that it makes them chewy in the middle but still Crunchy on the outside
I am a fan of digestive biscuits especially the chocolate ones. Never can understand dipping a chocolate biscuit into tea, ewww.
If we are talking mcvities flavours then I love the lemon one they do, the cherry bakewell is good to.
I'm not going to try the Xmas pudding or ginger one though.
Tried most of them and some are very nice but always revert back to plain chocolate ones.Nice out of the fridge.
