Where Do You Do Your Food Shopping??

This is why I don't shop un our Aldi, I can't do a full shop and I don't have the time to do 2 shops. I rotate between Tesco, morrisons and sainsbury depending on who has the best offers for what I need that week and who I have points or vouchers for. I but the supermarket own or value ranges and find that I don't really save in Aldi, plus some of the sizes are smaller so not value for money for me.

I honestly don't think I could buy everything from one shop and be happy. I like fresh meat from my local Asda (never any fat conveniently hidden under the label ) I probably shop there the most but then their cherry/plum toms are never sweet or full of flavour so I buy from Lidl. Aldi's fresh veg lasts much better than Lidl for some reason. It's swings and roundabouts.

Ocado. Saves time and the produce is excellent. Surprisingly we spend around £40 - £50 per week which is the same as what we spent in Morrisons!!!

Randomly between Tesco Asda Sainsbury's and m&s food. Can't say I'm loyal to any. I can't stand aldi and lidl

I love to use Aldi because I think all their stuff is such good quality but sadly there isn't one too close so we usually go for Tesco or Waitrose and top up in Aldi can with essentials that last.

We do a big food shop once a week - aldi for most things, then we buy squash, meat and some bits in Iceland (its next door) and we usually go to home bargains for some bits (few shops up). If theres things we havent managed to pick up then we stop in asda on the way home. We go to farmfoods every now and again for washing powder, cans etc. Then if we need a top up during the week we have a Lidl about half a mile away. Some stores we go to dont sell what we want or we know its cheaper in another shop thats why we shop around, although we probably dont save any money as going in so many shops you see more things and just chuck them in

I'm not very loyal, I tend to rotate to different shops depending on which I have a voucher for at the time. Generally my favourite is Tesco as Yeovil has an excellent large Tesco and they do a lot of half price offers plus value ranges and their range is huge. Also a nice friendly store with decent parking. Prefer to buy meat from Morrisons as best quality and they use their own monitored abattoirs. Rarely use Asda, perhaps once every 3-4 months they never send me vouchers basically. Minor shops in Waitrose to get the free coffee. Use Lidl and Aldi but don't like the quality of their processed food and overall the worst quality for me overall but still have some excellent items that are great value. Fruit and veg seems the worse quality by far. Extremely rare I would buy anything from M&S food. Use my local Coop just down the road quite a lot especially when they are doing their reductions after 7pm. Will be using Aldi a lot more as they are building a new one close to me, right next to where they closed down a few years ago which became a farmfoods. Do use Farmfoods occasionally too. Lastly iceland completely mucked up a home delivery order a while ago, delivering it to a neighbour instead who ate some of the food, they never delivered the correct order either the next day and it was partially defrosted and the whole thing was a farce so probably won't be buying from them again for a very long time, at least not a home delivery order.

I am lucky enough to have an Aldi, Iceland and Homebargains all next to each other. So I use the combination of these buying the best and cheapest from each for the full shop. What is it that you cannot get in Aldi?

I like to visit a number of places for a bit of variety. I go to M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose. Plus a few independents and health food shops.

I really have to shop about as Aldi is usually out of stuff- I have had bad experience with fruit so prefer Asda and morrisons its a weekly challenge but on average thats how it goes for me

main shop in Lidl or Aldi, both close enough.. other speciality items in Tesco that cannot get in the german shops such as special flours etc. use local butcher for meat mostly and corner shop for milk, bread etc

Here and there....I do go to Waitrose and buy some of my veg there and also go to Co-op and get bits there and the week...the £5 deal is always great and they also have 90p hash browns and I really like those.

i always use to use tesco but i have started to find it more expensive and the food as a really short dates on it so i now shop at asda and find a very good
