Food for Staffy
Ask a Question
is my staff puppy ok to eat pedigree wet food and dry biscuits or do i just keep him on biscuits
It’s your choice on what to feed your puppy all of my dogs got fed skinners field & trial puppy food it’s a complete food that is dry but you can feed it soaked in hot water to make it a bit softer for the puppy to eat, or mixed with a bit mashed vegetables, as it’s a complete food it does not cost as much as wet food my neighbour also fed her two staffys on this as well I just stick with this brand as I have used it for about 25 years or more and they have a good nutritional consultant service
thank you, just want make sure he on the right diet as thought giving biscuits might not be enough, he has fruit now and again and veg mixed in with biscuits.
smedleys97 your welcome just mix his feeds up then he will not get picky you could also give him a carrot or apple as a treat
I prefer dry food S, wet food can contribute to tooth decay , but it also depends on the breed , some are more susceptible to gum problems than others, ours is a yorkiepoo cross, and both breeds suffer problems
She has to go to the vets occasionaly for a clean for this reason despite the food choice
Ours ate whatever he could find! We should have called him hoover. He did get bad wind with tinned food so we stuck to dry and gave him carrot and cucumber as treats
