I heard that in some shops there is a fruit and veg limit on some items like tomatoes and vegetables in asda and aldi so far for me.
Anyone else seen this or knows more
Media scaremongering has once again made the matter worse. Shortage of some items, but if you look around different stores or independent shops they are avaliable
I haven't seen any signs when shopping, but did hear the woman in front of me at Aldi say there was a shortage of cherry tomatoes. I haven't had any issues getting the fruit and veg we need.
I just heard yesterday about the tomatoes which I do not like. I have got my seeds ready for growing my own veg again this year
Not come across a limit yet - but have struggled to get cucumbers / tomatoes and red peppers from tesco over the last few weeks. At least eggs seem to be back in supply now. Luckily we also use Riverford where Ive been able to get them - although its costs a bit more!
It's been all over the tv for days but the shortages are things I can happily live without. I do think it is a sign of things to come though.
Lynibis Yes well (too well ?) publicised , but shouldn't last too long . Cold cloudy weather does happen in Morocco and Southern Spain (Our main winter suppliers ) but not for an extended period .
Hopefully even idiots will realise they can't stockpile these items (they don't freeze ) so we shouldn't see folks leaving the supermarkets with a years supply 
. Unlike loo rolls , cooking oil etc .
Lynibis We should be able to support ourselves with food, especially as we live on a small island but of course there are already too many people on it and we are concreting over the rest of it as quickly as we can....
tumblespots yep, and building railways and motorways and car parks. Maybe they should limit cars per household as well as kids.
dont believe the media must be a quiet day on the news front so they try to scare people again
I've not noticed a shortage in the shops yet but I imagine the media coverage will no doubt make it worse.
loooo666 - I haven't noticed any shortage or ration of fruits and vegetables in several Tesco or several Asda stores I have been to during the week.
I called in to a M&S today, plenty of fruit and veg on display. No sign of restrictions.
There was plenty of fruit and veg in my local Aldi today but Sainsbury's was pretty empty.
