I have to admit that when I saw a folding smartphone in person, I thought it was impressive. However, still not impressive enough for me to buy one. And I suppose everyone else feels the same, as they’ve never quite taken off
Have you got a folding smartphone? Or would you ever consider one?
no thanks. If you want to pay for an expensive phone which has an obvious weak spot, then the folding phones it is
Lol I must admit I could see that even though it’s a great design, mainly as you get a bigger screen, it’s indeed an obvious weak spot also
I think I'd need to wait for a model down the line after all the kinks had been worked out. Looks sleek though and would save me using a tablet and phone just for convenience.
The folding smartphones do look brilliant but they break after a short period of time. There are videos all over YouTube of them cracking when being closed and becoming unhinged in the middle. It was even broadcast on the late news last year
People love gimmicks and that means you can extract more money from some people but ultimately it doesn't really do anything necessary and you surely have better uses for such money. Samsung do some great stuff but I like their lower end more value orientated phones. It's about what the market will bear if there is someone out there willing to pay £1000 plus for a phone then the product will be made but a good phone can easily be made to retail well below £200.
