Garden Fence to Paint or Not

i just been thinking about the garden fence how bad it needs staining . do u think if the weather continues to be dry in next couple of days it will be ok to do a couple of coats of paint or do u think it too early in the year yet ? i usually do the fence and shed as soon as i can and then the decking i do after .. treated it all before the winter set in but looking tired n worn now x thinking we may have to save to get either a new deck building or might put some slabs down n make it into a nice patio area
That's the trouble with wooden fencing it needs too much attention, I was thinking of paying extra and getting the plastic fencing but the price is extortionate for what it is. I don't know why they can't turn all the unwanted plastic into fencing as a way of getting rid of it. I'm willing to let them put it round my garden for the hundreds of years it's supposed to take to break down.
(Lucky if you can get the wooden stuff to last for ten years)
