I bought some cheap £1.68 headphones but sadly they never turned up. The site seems to be gone now. Luckily I paid through Paypal so shouldn't be too difficult to get a refund.
Seems quite a big retailer to just disappear. I've perhaps used them 5 or 6 times over about 5 years. I think I bought an android box from them.
I'm sure many don't know the site but it was a fairly big Chinese online retailer but certainly not as big as Aliexpress.
That website was HUGE.

I bought a few things there while mostly purchased many on AliExpress. However, ever since they devided to charge tax on all items I stopped buying and deleted my account.
The prices on there now with tax don't have much of a saving compared to physical stores, eBay, and Amazon.
By the way, if anyone made an expensive purchase on Gearbest and it doesn't turn up, you may want to consider doing a chargeback (or getting a refund via PayPal if you paid through such).
I checked their Twitter profile, and their last "tweet" is from 2020. Not a good sign at all 
Facebook marketplace cost mum and I and arm and a leg. Two mobility scooters,two laptops , a book chair and some cooking pots all lost somewhere between the page and the post.Managed to recoup about £30 from Paypal but it took about 5 months!
Thats terrible M, I hope you can do something about that, very deceitful and dishonest of them
Oh and a fold up scooter as well. Forgot that one! Wont bore you with the other fake romancer on FB that's a scream that one.
Well I got my refund of £1.68 for the headphones. I didn't quite understand Paypals comments though, they said they were reviewing the reply from Gearbest but I think they are just gone and not contactable. Normally you get to see the reply on the dispute page too but of course nothing was there.
Had untold problems with Chinese retailers online especially FB market place so no surprises there for me BB.
Are there Chinese sellers on facebook marketplace? I never even realised I only look at local listings on there.
