Gemma Collins - the next James Bond?

Ask a Question

I read Gemma Collins fancies herself as the next James Bond.

Got to love her confidence.

Do you think we'll ever see a woman play that role or do you think it's better to stick with tradition?

Er no.... I can't see Gemma Collins being cast in any leading role of a mainstream film...

Probably not. James Bond is the epitome of an international film. There are lots of territories that would have real issues with a women playing a male character in a Hollywood style action film. It would likely also be a very unpopular move with James Bond fans, which would negatively impact box office takings. So producers wouldn't take the risk. Although, I don't see why they can't make another film in the same universe focusing on a female 00 Agent.

I think it is better to stick to the book. James Bond was a man. Why change a great formula?

I read some rumours that in the next bond film, he loses his 007 status, and that number gets re-assigned to a woman. So there may be a film in which a female character is 007, rather than “James Bond”. Rumours though!

Oh, please God no. Anyone but her. I don't care if they cast an alpaca for the role...but not her. 😱

I can’t bear the woman that’s not even funny, there’s no way she could replace Daniel Craig as 007.

The way that things are going now, it wouldn't surprise me if we end up with a BAME lesbian/gay trans woman/man/non binary James Bond.

If a lady plays the part of James Bond. Then can it really be James Bond? Wouldn’t they have to change the name? To a female name? I have no problem with a lady playing the role just trying to work out how they would say their name.

I do have a problem with that lady playing that role though. They need to act lol

more than happy for a female Bond - but it has to be someone with at least a bit of talent.

There is the royal Correspondant Jenny Bond . Female, with the same surname and has more talent than a dead slug.
