With the spiralling costs of dental treatment in the UK people are looking to improve their smile abroad
One of the popular places people go is Turkey , where you can have a full set of implanted gnashers for less than a third of the price than in the UK at some clinics
The main problem is the safety standards and hygiene are not the same as here, as well as having a lack of aftercare and higher risks
So 'Turkey Teeth' , as they are known can come at a far higher price with some people getting infections and losing their gums and teeth completely
Influencers make the situation worse by praising some dodgy clinics in Turkey when they are only promoting them because they are paid to or are getting free treatment
I know someone who travelled to Turkey for cosmetic tummy tuck. She stayed several days after the surgery then flew home. You’ve guessed it, that first night back in the uk she went to A&E and was admitted.
Pjran possibly due to flying after only a few days. It would have been advisable to stay longer to recover from the surgery, I'm surprised they weren't told this. I hope she was ok.

I've read some right horror stories on this. I'd never go abroad for it. Let's be honest a tourist coming for that kind of treatment is going to be seen an easy target
