Hi guys, just want to know how good is Boxing Day ? Do you think it’s worth it ? Do the prices really go down ? Or January sale is better ? Does anyone have January sale date ?

Can you clarify please. Not sure what you mean. Some places have sales on Boxing day but most wait until new year sales.

Mariam91130 ah ok I must admit I do not go to sales on Boxing Day as I prefer to spend with family I don't see on Xmas day, but it seems like you have been given plenty of advice on here so happy hunting.
Ebay great on Xmas where people list there unwonted Xmas gifts or where auctions run but seller not realised ends on Xmas where most people are sleeping after a busy day 
I have had some great buys over the years one year I had a 32 inch TV for 44.50

I think the boxing day sales start before xmas nowadays. Unless of course you mean the queue up outside and pile in type of sale but i cant see those happening this year
Thanks for creating a topic. for me Boxing Day is helpful because I only do shopping from 4 stores and I do get bargains . Selfridges , Debenhams , Boots , Superdrug are in my top list for shopping on Boxing Day ONLY . I don’t go any other Store on Boxing Day hopefully this year i will share with you all my Boxing Day shopping

I don't really shop on boxing day testing after Christmas. I do like January sales really for partner birthday starting presents all over again

I don't usually go anywhere on Boxing Day, I much prefer to spend the day at home. It it was pre-covid I would try and get out the day after that, but not this year....
I prefer boxing day sales to any others. I usually buy a few bits & pieces for the following Christmas & a couple of Jan / Feb birthdays. As my birthday is early January too I usually keep money aside & treat myself to something nice in the sales.

After all these years, I still think Boxing Day refers to boxing even though I know the meaning. lol
