what will everyone be doing this halloween ?
Halloween been cancelled due to covide, but we will be doing a movie night with apple bobbing
You don't need a big fuss about Halloween we will be baking apple tart few other things then show the kids the way we used to do it toasting mash mellow apple bobeing .
we have never done halloween at all, but I do like some of the extra seasonal flavours some companies bring out - like blood orange Jaffa Cakes etc
I'm thinking of a cute Halloween movie then Halloween party just for household with a virtual trick or treat
HollyDobson we just don't. I was never fussed on Halloween when younger and my husband doesn't like halloween so we don't bother with it.
MrsCraig what about your little ones they're missing out? I'm not trying to be funny I'm just curious
HollyDobson my son is 2, he has absolutely no idea what is going on anyway, so at this age he isn't missing out. I've lived in my house for 5 years and have never had anyone at my door on Halloween so it isn't a big thing in our area.
We are painting a pumpkin and I got sweets and a dress for my daughter...will dress her up and go shopping like that and just have the sweets for her. I was looking forward to trick and treating, because she is 4 and before she was too small to do it soo and usually in the building where we live it is organized...This year there will be a market with some activities, but that is all...At home we do some Halloweeny things.
We will make ginger biscuits,will hide sweets around the house so kids can go for a hunt. Will watch some film and having takeaway.
My kids are grown up so one less thing to think about but if any one else takes their kids out I'm leaving some individually wrapped sweets outside. And if they don't come around then I'll be keeping them for me
