Teachers have to cope with lots of abuse from children and unfortunately parents regardless of their race.

Unfortunately we have to deal with all sorts of things. My husband has been called a fat b*****d by pupils he doesn't know. I was threatened whilst pregnant. Not the first time I've been threatened either. I told the deputy if the pupil was still in my class tomorrow, I wouldn't be.

It isn't just the pupils either, some parents can be rude and insulting too. It does tend to be the minority of pupils but it takes up the majority of your time.

I honestly don't know how teachers do it and lock down highlighted to me just how much work teachers do. They definitely need a pay rise.
