Looking For Really Good Headphones
Ask a Question
Can anyone recommend some really good head/earphones that last but dont cost the earth or are worth looking out for in the sales? I have bought two pairs off amazon both around £35 so not dirt cheap and they have both died within 5 month. So frustrating TIA
These are on offer on Amazon at the moment and ive always found Sony to be quite good https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WD58H6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Az2.DbCJD0EZE the o ly downside is that they are purely wireless and dont have the option to plug and play with an aux lead, but do come with various colour options.
I bouht my dad these house of marley headphones last christmas https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F919M9R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pB2.Db44YSTVT and their still going strong. They also come with an aux lead for plug and play aswell. Their also on offer atm.

Love Grado headphones but they start at about £70 I think but absolutely amazing sound quality well beyond the quality of most brands. They don't really advertise much though but are frequent best buys at what hifi.
For lower price headphones some of the Sony headphones are excellent. I use their entry level headphones with my exercise bike which I've strapped an android tablet to the handlebars and those are great headphones for the money. Can't remember the model number something like the MDR-ZX100 but they are at least 4 years old now but I've seen what looks the same headphones in shops recently.
I have to say I'm pretty fussy with regard headphones. When I try headphones in hifi shops or HMV etc to see how they sound so many incredibly expensive headphones have what I would call poor sound quality however I like a clean dynamic sound true to the original music but some seem to like increased bass going by what headphones are popular nowadays. I did listen to some bowers and wilkins headphones and they were amazing but then the price was hundreds of pounds, I think Grado headphones deliver similar sound for maybe as much as a third of the price.
